Petrobras Complete

WesTech HMD has completed the upgrade to the Tensioner System on board the Petrobras Pipelay Barge BGL-1. This project was 1 year in design and manufacturing and involved 6 months of installation and testing. It involved upgrading 2 LPT 80 to LPT 100, adding 1 additional dual 250HP Hydraulic Power unit, upgrading the AR Winch from 100 KIPS to 200 KIPS, not to mention all new hydraulic piping and Digital Electronic Controls.
